Position:
Hamadeh Educational Services is looking for a Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team! As the lead teacher you will be responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing grade level content based on the needs of each student. The teacher is also responsible for maintaining program quality and documentation as outlined through GSRP guidelines.
Academy Mission:
The Academies mission is to provide their students with a quality education that focuses on a core curriculum and international cultures including the study of language. The academies provide an education of the whole child by integrating different diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds to their college-preparatory program serving families in the Greater Detroit area.
Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains a fun and interactive learning experience for all studentsPromotes a safe, nurturing environment where students can play, learn, and growRetains open communication with parentsCreates goals for the success of the school, implement and achieve goals as a teamImplements appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, and materialsEnsures comprehension of learning styles and student needsUses analytics and data to help drive instruction and promote learningPlans activities and projects that are relevant to the students' needsPerforms other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education with Major or Minor in certificate areaMichigan Teaching Certification in Subject Content Area (ZA, ZS) preferredThorough knowledge of Michigan Core Curriculum is a plusExcellent communication skills including oral, written, and interpersonalAbility to work well in culturally diverse settingKnowledgeable with computer based programs such as Microsoft OfficeFlexible, open-minded, self-driven team member Hamadeh Educational Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
