Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator working the 2nd shift from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials across our distribution center. Your expertise in operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment will keep our supply chain moving smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using barcode scanning systems and manage inventory accurately within warehouse management systems. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards in production and warehouse safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against documentation, and maintaining accurate inbound/outbound logs. Support warehouse management by organizing materials for distribution, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed. Follow OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (reach truck, cherry picker, Hi-Lo), pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or similar material handling machinery. Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following manual handling guidelines. Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning devices, and logistics software is preferred. Strong understanding of forklift safety protocols, OSHA standards, and general warehouse safety practices. Warehouse or distribution center experience is highly desirable; previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Embark on a rewarding career where your skills drive operational excellence!
