In this energetic role, you will operate specialized equipment to efficiently handle, store, and distribute materials within our warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse management, safety protocols, and equipment operation will ensure smooth flow of goods, accurate inventory management, and safe working conditions. Duties Safely operate reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Conduct order picking using barcode scanning technology to fulfill shipping requests accurately and efficiently Manage inventory levels by organizing stock in designated warehouse locations and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) accordingly Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on material handling equipment to ensure optimal safety and performance Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and warehouse safety protocols during daily operations Support manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials movement while adhering to proper ergonomic practices Qualifications Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory control procedures Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order picking, load & unload activities, shipping & receiving Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on heavy lifting techniques Prior experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus but not required
