Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Otsego, MN. This position is responsible for safely moving, storing, loading, and unloading products using stand-up reach truck equipment while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting daily shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate has at least two years of recent stand-up reach truck experience and is comfortable using RF scanners, inventory systems, and computer-based tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate stand-up reach truck and stand-up forklift equipment. Load outbound trailers to ensure secure, accurate, and compliant shipments. Unload inbound shipments and place inventory in designated storage locations. Pick, stage, and fulfill orders according to shipping requirements. Move and store products safely throughout the warehouse. Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels. Use barcode and RF scanners to track product movement and update inventory records. Use warehouse management and computer systems to process product information. Complete required shipping and inventory documentation. Verify product quantities and storage locations for accuracy. Assist with general warehouse material handling and operational support. Provide internal customer service and support as needed. Maintain clean and organized warehouse and equipment areas. Follow all forklift safety procedures, warehouse policies, and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent stand-up reach truck forklift experience required. Ability to safely and confidently operate stand-up reach truck equipment. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Comfortable using computers, RF scanners, and warehouse inventory systems. Previous shipping, receiving, and material handling experience preferred. Forklift certification preferred; training/certification may be available if needed. High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Dependable with consistent attendance and a strong work ethic. Steel-toe boots required. Ability to stand and operate equipment for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform material handling activities. Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. Regular operation of stand-up reach truck and material-handling equipment. Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures, moving equipment, and typical warehouse noise. Frequent interaction with inventory, trailers, storage racks, and shipping and receiving areas. Requires consistent attention to forklift safety and surrounding warehouse activity. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, must be worn as required. Must consistently follow established warehouse and forklift safety procedures.
