Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join a growing warehouse team in Rogers, MN. This position is responsible for safely operating a stand-up forklift to move, stage, and organize materials while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has previous stand-up forklift operating experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safe material handling. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment and can maintain accuracy while meeting daily productivity expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse. Transport materials between production, storage, staging, and shipping areas. Pick, pull, and stage customer orders accurately. Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently. Stage materials for outgoing shipments and incoming deliveries. Assist with shipping and receiving activities. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and material movement. Verify product quantities and locations to maintain inventory accuracy. Assist with cycle counts and inventory-related activities as assigned. Perform required forklift inspections and report equipment concerns promptly. Maintain organized storage, staging, and work areas. Follow all company safety policies and forklift operating procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse team members. Assist with additional warehouse and material-handling responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous stand-up forklift operating experience required. Ability to safely and confidently operate warehouse equipment. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred. Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred. Current forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain company certification. High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory. Ability to read, write, understand, and follow work instructions in English. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to operate a stand-up forklift for extended periods. Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist throughout the workday. Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. Frequent operation of stand-up forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Regular exposure to warehouse equipment, loading docks, moving machinery, and active shipping and receiving operations. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required. Overtime may be available based on business needs. Must consistently follow established warehouse and forklift safety procedures.
