Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklift and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and safety protocols will ensure smooth warehouse operations during the evening shift. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes, updating warehouse management systems, and conducting regular stock counts. Assist with order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and lift trucks while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation of all machinery. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials and ensuring safety standards are followed at all times. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation and preparing items for dispatch. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management practices. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
