Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and clamp trucks, to efficiently handle materials and manage inventory. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and order picking will ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and distribution processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments with precision and care Conduct thorough inspections of equipment before use and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues Manage materials handling tasks such as order picking, stacking pallets, and organizing inventory within the warehouse Assist with shipping and receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements accurately and update records in real-time Support warehouse distribution activities by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to OSHA safety standards Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve overall warehouse efficiency Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or clamp trucks in a warehouse setting Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and experience with order picker technology Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting issues promptly Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse distribution processes Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts Previous experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus but not required

Pay:

Friday & Saturday 5:30am-5pm & Sunday& Monday 5:30pm-5am
