Job Description

Epitec is seeking to hire a Production Supervisor for the largest U.S. automaker in Kansas City, Missouri , supporting day?to?day manufacturing operations in a fast?paced, unionized environment. This is a hands?on supervisory leadership role with on?the?job training, development, and long?term career progression.
Location:
Kansas City, MO |
Automotive Manufacturing Shift:
A Crew shift (5:00 AM-3:30 PM) (MUST be open to quarterly rotational shifts) What You'll Do Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly manufacturing team producing quality automotive products Organize workflow to meet daily safety, quality, and productivity targets Verify production lines are running safely, efficiently, and to standard Coach standardized work and reinforce continuous improvement initiatives Drive high performance through servant leadership and accountability Build strong working relationships with hourly employees, union representatives, and management Consistently and fairly administer the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Create and sustain a strong culture of safety and professionalism What You'll Have High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of supervisory and/or manufacturing leadership experience Experience supporting or leading unionized hourly teams Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime as required Required Behaviors Maintains professionalism in high?pressure and fast?paced environments Strong two?way communicator who actively listens to hourly teams and leadership Committed to continuous improvement with a customer?first mindset Demonstrates resilience, attention to detail, ambition, and high integrity Values diverse perspectives and encourages open collaboration Key Skills Production / Manufacturing Supervision Union Labor Relations & CBA Administration Safety, Quality, and Productivity Leadership Standardized Work & Continuous Improvement Team Coaching & Development Automotive Manufacturing Operations #LI-KT1 #INDEPI #ProductionSupervisor #ManufacturingJobs #AutomotiveJobs #UnionLeadership #KansasCityJobs #EpitecJobs
