Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle Wage:
$18.00 per hour
Shift:
1st
Hours:
7:00am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle position available at a company in Hazelwood, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Inspect plastic pallets for defects and determine appropriate rework or repair methods.
  • Repair, rework, and refurbish defective plastic pallets to meet company quality standards.
  • Break down damaged or unusable pallets for recycling or disposal.
  • Operate a forklift to transport pallets, materials, and finished products throughout the department as needed.
  • Load and unload materials using a forklift when required.
  • Perform manual handling of pallets, including stacking, sorting, and organizing inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support recycling, housekeeping, and general production tasks within the rework department.
Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle Requirements:
  • Previous forklift experience required.
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and perform minor repairs.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Regularly grasp, handle, and manipulate plastic pallets and materials.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
