Job Description Join a dynamic hospital-based environment as a Radiation Oncologist for a short-term locum tenens position. You'll work closely with a supportive team including radiation therapists, medical physicists, oncology RNs, and dosimetrists. This role involves treating a wide array of cases such as breast, prostate, CNS, and more using specialized techniques and equipment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with extended opportunities likely.

Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Conduct new patient consults, follow-ups, and on-treatment visits Manage various case types including breast, prostate, CNS, head and neck, lung, GI/GU, etc. Perform procedures such as CT simulation, 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SRS, and Electron beam therapy Qualifications MD/DO required Board Certification in Radiation Oncology required BLS certification required Missouri state license required Minimum of 1 year experience Working Hours Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Skills Expertise in new patient consults, follow-ups, and supportive care management Proficient in imaging review and toxicity assessment Skilled in procedures such as CT planning, IGRT, and adaptive replanning decision-making Ensure compliance with documentation using EPIC with Aria platform, and maintain detailed case logs for stereotactic procedures as needed.
