About the Role This position involves operating a lift truck to manage materials within a warehouse setting. The role is crucial for ensuring efficient material flow and accurate shipment preparation. Your contributions will help maintain a smooth and organized warehouse operation. Key Responsibilities Receive and execute pull tasks for hard surface materials using a lift truck. Transport pallets via forklift to designated locations. Complete necessary paperwork accurately. Wrap and band materials on pallets for shipment. Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for delivery. Tape and repair any damaged packages. Raise and lower dock plates as needed. Utilize the orange cone system for managing trailer status. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. Minimum Requirements Ability to sit or stand on a lift truck for the entire shift. Capability to mount/dismount the lift truck approximately 15 times per hour using three points of contact. Capacity to work in varying warehouse temperatures. Strength to bend and lift up to 50 lbs., up to 20 times per hour for 8 hours.

Work Environment Schedule:

Monday to Friday.

Start Times:

11 AM on Mondays, 12 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8 AM on Fridays. No set end time; work could conclude between 9 PM and midnight. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit or stand on a lift truck for the entire shift. Must be able to mount/dismount lift truck on an average 15 times per hour while using three points of contact. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment which may be quite warm or cool. Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs., up to 20 times an hour for 8 hours.
