Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that operations run smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload shipments with precision while adhering to safety protocols Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels accurately Participate in order picking processes, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with OSHA standards Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting safety and efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, including heavy equipment operation such as forklifts and cranes Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role Experience with order picking processes, including picker operations Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures is preferred Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Join our team today and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service through efficient warehouse operations!
