Job Description

Forklift Operator A local, family owned and operated, independent retailer in the Flathead Valley is hiring a Forklift Operator. More than just a business, this company is proud to be active in the community giving back and supporting the well-being of neighbors and their employees. This position plays an important role in daily operations by ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time while providing support to other accounting and store functions. This hands-on role is responsible for safely loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, preparing customer orders, and ensuring products are handled efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and is committed to providing excellent service to both customers and team members.

Up to $24/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays Benefits for eligible employees: Health and dental coverage Paid Time off and Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Employee purchase discount
Essential Functions and Duties:
Pull, stage, and load materials for deliveries while assisting with customer pickups and material returns Receive, unload, organize, and maintain inventory to ensure accurate storage and an orderly yard Safely operate equipment and follow proper material handling procedures to prevent damage Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and identifying potential sales opportunities Maintain a clean, safe work environment while following all safety and company policies Report accidents, equipment issues, customer concerns, and other operational needs to supervisors while supporting additional yard duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to safely operate power equipment and follow proper loading and material handling procedures Strong customer service and communication skills with a willingness to assist customers Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to complete tasks efficiently Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting up to 100 lbs., and working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Quick 10 second application, e-mail or call dre@lcstaffing.com 42210
