Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist A local, family owned and operated, independent retailer in the Flathead Valley is hiring a Driver's CDL Class B. This position plays an important role in daily operations by ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time while providing support to other accounting and store functions. Schedule:

Essential Functions and Duties:
Process accounts payable invoices by matching purchase orders, coding invoices, obtaining approvals, and preparing payments Maintain accurate purchase order files, accounts payable records, and financial reports Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status Assist with receiving documentation and provide backup support for accounts receivable and customer account maintenance Support daily store operations by answering phones, assisting customers, putting away freight, and completing end-of-day closing procedures Serving as the day-end closer, closing duties typically take 10 to 20 minutes after close
Qualifications:
2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience Bookkeeping knowledge preferred Microsoft Excel experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Get in touch!
