Job Description

SKILLED ROLES
in Durham, Cary, and Morrisville- RTP.
Pay Schedule:
Weekly Pay + Benefits and 401K Schedule:
Rotating 12-hour schedule- 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
- Enjoy every other weekend off
Shift Options:
Day Shift:
7:00 AM- 7:00 PM
Night Shift:
7:00 PM- 7:00
AM Duties:
Assists with staging jobs in various work areas, banding skids, cleaning scrap, loading/unloading trucks. Moving stock to and from loading docks and placing the items in the designated location and distributing materials as needed. Transports materials from storage or other work areas to designated areas using forklift truck, manual /electric pallet jacks, electric dolly, or other related equipment. Loads materials into trucks and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit using company provided equipment. Loads and unload materials onto pallets, racks, and shelves. Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures; promptly corrects hazardous situations. Follows all company policies, security protocols & procedures, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. May be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.Skills :
Push, pull, lift or carry up to as much as 60 pounds occasionally, and up to 25 pounds frequently.- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in accordance with the required schedule shift.
- Ability to understand and apply written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations
- addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Proficiency in using the intranet, and management information systems (MIS).
- Comprehension skills and ability to operate forklift trucks and other related powered lift equipment.
- Possess good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting forklift equipment issues.
- Forklift certification license or ability to obtain forklift certification license.
