Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator operates a manually controlled gasoline, electric, or liquid propane powered forklift to transport goods and materials of all kinds within a warehouse, manufacturing plant, or other establishment.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Forklift operator is responsible for keeping the forklift in good working condition by performing daily PMCS (Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services).Ensures inspections are conducted and discrepancies are corrected when possible or turned in to maintenance for repair.

Loading and Off-loading Tricons, Quadcons, ISUs, pallets and other equipment onto tractor trailers.

Attends training as required.

Perform other Container Management duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training Requirements:

Valid Drivers LicenseForklift certificationThe ability to work overtime as required.

High School/GED. Requires one year experience.
