Our client, an industrial service company, is looking for a Forklift Operator in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to receive, move, pick, stage, and load inventory while maintaining accurate records, organized work areas, and compliance with warehouse safety procedures. Day:

Complete the required pre-shift inspection and operate assigned forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment in accordance with training and site rules Unload inbound trailers, verify visible condition and quantities, and place material in assigned staging or storage locations Pick, move, replenish, and stage product according to work orders, shipment priorities, route requirements, and supervisor direction Load outbound trailers safely; confirm pallet stability, load sequence, labels, counts, and documentation before release Scan or record every inventory movement accurately and immediately; report missing labels, quantity differences, or location errors Maintain clear aisles, docks, exits, and work areas. Place damaged product in the designated hold area and notify leadership Support cycle counts, physical inventories, housekeeping, and other warehouse assignments as business needs require

About You:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse and powered industrial truck experience preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain company forklift certification Ability to read labels, work instructions, shipment documents, and basic inventory information; basic math and scanning skills required Reliable attendance, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds Work around moving equipment, trailers, noise, temperature changes, and warehouse traffic Pay-Rate /

Shift:

$21.00 /hour Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (OT required on occasion)
