$18.00Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. This position is responsible for moving, loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and a clean work environment. Key Responsibilities- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
- Move pallets, raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to designated storage, staging, shipping, or production areas.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or needed repairs to a supervisor.
- Use RF scanners, paperwork, or warehouse systems to verify inventory, product locations, and shipment accuracy.
- Stack, wrap, label, and stage products according to company procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, traffic rules, and proper material handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Assist with inventory counts, order picking, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required, including sit-down and stand-up forklift operation.
- Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification preferred; must be able to complete company forklift training and certification if required.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping paperwork, labels, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment with moving equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels.
- Must be able to follow all PPE and safety requirements.
