Outdoor Forklift Operator

Job Description

We're looking for a Yard Worker who is dependable, safety focused, and ready to contribute to a team that lives our values every day. In this role, you'll help load and unload products, organize and maintain yard inventory, operate equipment safely, and support drivers and customers with a respectful, professional attitude. You'll also have opportunities to learn new skills through cross training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or in the process of completion and a minimum of three months' work experience. Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day. Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday. Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday. Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors. Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions. Ability to work in a loud noise environment.
