Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload products using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring items are handled with care. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet scheduled delivery times. Deliver goods directly to customers' locations, providing friendly and professional service throughout each interaction. Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, stock rotation, and organizing shipments for smooth dispatch. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety standards are maintained. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for all shipments handled during your shift. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and load & unload procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience operating box trucks or pulling gooseneck trailers, or enclosed trailer is a must. Must be able to properly distribute weight on trailers, and chain down, or strap down loads. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely; experience using a pallet jack is a plus. Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory handling and safety protocols. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy lifting and moving equipment.
