Job Description

Sirius Staffing is hiring a full-time Packaging/Forklift Operator in Blair, NE. This role supports daily warehouse operations, including forklift operation, material handling, and packaging. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., safely operate machinery, and have a valid driver's license.
Rate:
$22.71/hrBenefits Offered + PTO accrued & Holiday pay
Schedule:
12-hour rotating day shift, 7:30a-7:30p, working 2-3-3-2 schedule (2 on/3 off/3 on/2 off, which includes some weekends and holidays) The first week of training, M-F 7:00-430
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and productsOperate packaging equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and perform tasks such as sorting, labeling, and preparing orders for shipmentMaintain accurate inventory records, assist with cycle counting, and complete inventory and shipping-related documentation.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment, including cleaning spills and keeping equipment and work areas clean.

Adhere to all safety protocols and perform quality assurance checksCollaborate with the logistics team to optimize the flow of materials and productsParticipate in quality, safety, and other warehouse-related projects as needed. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.

Previous forklift experience required (warehouse experience preferred) Must have basic computer skills Valid driver's license required to operate a forklift onsite.

Must be able to pass an MVR check and site-specific forklift certification.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and frequently bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and stand or walk for extended periods.
