Job Description
At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet. Corbion is seeking a Warehouse Technician for our Blair, Nebraska facility.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by maintaining cleanliness standards and operating the equipment and utilities in a safe manner.
- Move, pick, load, and ship packaged finished product and receive raw materials from suppliers.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete minor upkeep/maintenance of equipment. Fill in, as needed, for the Operations Technician in the Fill Room.
- Plan and pick finished goods for shipments using SAP system, shipping documentation. Apply appropriate documentation and labels per instructions and documentation.
- Plan and ship finished goods to customer and resupply (warehouse) orders, including appropriate packing, bracing and dunnage requirements.
- Perform cycle count functions of finished goods and raw material utilizing SAP system and following written instructions.
- Accurately transact activity records to SAP system as needed.
- Execute QESH standards per defined roles and responsibilities to ensure personal and product safety and quality.
Perform within the guidelines of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Security measures, Housekeeping, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), all quality, regulatory, environmental, safety and health guidelines and regulations. These standards are used in all daily activities to ensure product safety and quality are in compliance.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- Mastery of basic math, calculating, and computer skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in business, supply chain/logistics.
- Attention to detail and high level of organization.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment including forklift and turret truck.
- Experience reading specifications and interpret routine production operating procedures. General Working Environment Warehouse Technicians are required to work in a warehouse, with some tasks taking place outside of the warehouse.
- Warehouse Technicians will move products, work with truck drivers and back up the Fill Room and will have to wear the appropriate PPE including, but not limited to, hard hats, safety glasses, safety boots, face-shields, rubber gloves and uniform clothing.
- Temperature inside and outside the facility will range between -15
•F and 120
•F depending on location and the activities involved. Usual Physical ActivitiesThrough the course of a typical shift an individual in this position will perform the following activities: Must be able to perform moderately heavy physical activity 25% to 50% of time. Lift up to 50lbs occasionally
