Job Description

Cargill seeks a safety-focused Forklift Operator I to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate placement and inventory flow. You will perform pre-shift equipment inspections, follow all OSHA and Cargill safety standards, and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse. Working in a team-centered, inclusive environment, you will contribute to reliable production and global food supply while gaining opportunities for growth and skills development. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods Load and unload trucks, staging materials per production requirements Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report issues Follow OSHA, Cargill, and plant safety procedures at all times Maintain accurate counts and proper placement of inventory Support manufacturing workflows by timely material delivery Keep warehouse, docks, and aisles clean and organized Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Required Skills Forklift operation Palletizing and staging Inventory handling Warehouse safety Loading and unloading trucks Equipment inspection Basic maintenance of forklifts Documentation and logging RF scanner use Understanding of material flow
