Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, move, and organize materials within the warehouse. Manage shipping and receiving activities by inspecting incoming shipments, verifying documentation, and preparing outbound loads. Handle materials with care during loading and unloading processes to prevent damage or safety hazards. Maintain proper inventory levels within the warehouse management system (WMS) by updating records promptly. Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Experience Proven warehouse distribution experience with a strong understanding of order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling. Prior forklift certification and 1-4 years work related experience needed. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and mechanical tools used in logistics environments. Experience in construction or industrial settings involving heavy lifting or heavy equipment operation is a plus. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices. Previous supervisory experience as a warehouse supervisor is advantageous but not required; leadership skills are appreciated.
