Belvidere, New Jersey CoWorx Staffing Services has immediate temp-to-hire PIT/Forklift Operator openings with a fantastic, employee-focused client in the Belvidere, NJ area!

Responsibilities:

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, and move products, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently. Use handheld RF scanners with a high degree of accuracy to track inventory and complete warehouse transactions. Load and unload trailers as needed while following established safety procedures and productivity standards. Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. Maintain an understanding of and comply with Supply Chain quality policies and operational requirements. Perform inbound receiving processes, including verifying shipments and accurately processing inventory receipts.

Desired Background/Skills:

Two or more years of warehouse experience and forklift operating experience required. Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks required. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed. Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights safely and efficiently. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull throughout the work shift. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, and operate tools, equipment, and materials. Ability to work effectively in hot or cold warehouse environments.

Shift Details:

Monday through Friday schedule: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with an initial 3 to 4 weeks of training conducted from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with leadership and peers.
