The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment, accurately picking and preparing customer orders, and safely handling large, oversized materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Accurately pick customer orders based on shipping paperwork. Analyze and interpret order documents, ensuring correct door sizes, styles, construction, and quantities are selected. Safely operate forklifts to transport doors, pallets, and oversized materials throughout the warehouse. Build and palletize customer orders to ensure safe transportation. Strap, wrap, and secure finished orders for shipment. Load and unload trucks efficiently while verifying shipment accuracy. Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping. Organize and stage completed orders for scheduled pickups and deliveries. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area. Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly. Work closely with production, warehouse, and shipping personnel to meet daily shipping schedules. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines when handling materials and operating equipment. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping environment. Previous experience with order picking and shipping operations is required. Experience handling large, heavy, or oversized materials is strongly preferred. Ability to accurately read and understand shipping paperwork, order specifications, and product dimensions. Comfortable moving large pallets, bundles, and door products safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to order accuracy. Ability to lift heavy doors as part of a team effort and work on your feet throughout the shift. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in the door, window, lumber, or building materials industry is a plus.
