The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in unloading and loading containers and trucks, stacking pallets, staging receiving areas, putting away inventory, and picking orders with an electric sit-down forklift. Responsibilities Operate Electric Sit-Down Forklifts Perform material handling tasks such as loading, unloading, order picking, put away, and transporting materials throughout the facility. Support shipping and receiving operations by organizing goods for distribution, staging areas, or putting items into storage according to warehouse procedures Use an RF Scanner to pick orders, scan items, and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS). Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Experience Minimum of 4-years of proven experience operating Electric Sit Down Forklifts Minimum of 4-years of proven experience operating Electric Pallet Jacks Demonstrated knowledge of RF Scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, put away, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments ensures safe work practices are followed consistently. Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and documentation accuracy are essential.
