Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and bilingual (Spanish/English) Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, to efficiently manage inventory and support warehouse distribution operations. Your expertise will ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, accurate order picking, and adherence to safety standards. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while ensuring heavy lifting safety standards are maintained Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using barcode scanning systems for logistics efficiency Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation of all warehouse machinery Manage inventory levels through warehouse management systems (WMS), including stock replenishment and cycle counts Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documentation Maintain a clean, organized work environment by adhering to warehouse safety standards in production and materials handling procedures Experience Proven experience operating forklifts (lift truck), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols Experience with inventory management, order picking, load & unload procedures, and shipping & receiving processes Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation accuracy Previous warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution operations is a plus Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate within diverse teams Join our team today if you're ready to bring energy, precision, and safety-consciousness to a thriving warehouse environment!
