We're #Brave #Agile #Keen #Engaged We are Bakers. And you? About the Role We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll operate up to three types of battery-powered equipment, each categorized by size and complexity (FLO1-FLO4). You'll receive comprehensive training and certification for each level, ensuring you're set up for success. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values safety, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a critical role in our warehouse operations by: Safely operate forklifts and other lifting equipment (e.g., fork grapple, lamps, elevating platforms) to move, stack, tier, and transport materials. Load and unload trailers, supply route drivers, and transport stock from production areas to freezers. Position lifting devices under/around pallets, skids, boxes, and other materials to move them to designated areas. Recharge batteries and inspect equipment before and after use. Report equipment issues to maintenance concerns to shift supervisors. Participate in special projects and support other duties as needed. Following all safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED minimum, individuals with food manufacturing, logistics and industrial experience welcomed to apply. 1-3 years of forklift experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Familiarity with GMP regulations, OSHA standards, and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Working knowledge of SQF code and food safety practices (training provided). Comfortable working in cold environments and around mechanical equipment. Valid driver's license. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
