Responsibilities Safely operate various heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments. Conduct accurate order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) and pick techniques to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Manage materials handling tasks including stacking, organizing, and storing inventory in designated warehouse areas. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling. Perform routine equipment repair checks and report maintenance needs to ensure machinery remains in optimal condition. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and safety protocols during all operations. Support warehouse management with inventory control, cycle counts, and data entry to ensure accurate stock levels. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo's, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker procedures. Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills for equipment maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials handling tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations. Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution environments is preferred. Excellent attention to detail combined with physical stamina for long shifts involving heavy lifting and equipment operation.
