Job Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse Forklift Operator, where you'll be the driving force behind efficient materials handling and inventory management. Duties Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack) safely in cold and freezer environment Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments Move, stack, and store products in designated warehouse locations, including racking systems Accurately handle products while maintaining lot integrity, FIFO/FEFO, and traceability requirements Scan or record product movements using warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual logs Perform pre-and post-operation forklift inspections and report mechanical issues immediately Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas in accordance with GMPs Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits as required Follow USDA, FDA, HACCP, and company food safety policies at all times Comply with all safety rules, including PPE requirements and cold-environment protocols Report damaged product, spills, or safety hazards promptly Work collaboratively with warehouse, quality and shipping/receiving teams Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred (cold storage experience a plus) Valid forklift certification or ability to become certified Knowledge of safe forklift operation and warehouse safety practices Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments for extended periods Understanding of inventory practices (FIFO/lot control) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions :
Work performed in refrigerated and freezer environment (temperatures may range from 35° F to -10° F or lower) Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance Required use of PPE, including cold-weather gear and safety equipment May require overtime, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs Join us as a Warehouse Forklift Operator to be an essential part of our fast-moving logistics team! Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
