Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Warehouse Associate to join our team.
Location:
Waldwick, NJ Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30PM (work on weekend occasionally)
Compensation:
$18 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • Picking:
    Identify and collect items from shelves or storage locations based on customer orders or inventory needs.
  • Loading and Unloading:
    Efficiently load and unload products from trucks, containers, and conveyors.
  • Packing:
    Secure items in boxes or other appropriate packaging for shipment, ensuring protection from damage
  • Labeling:
    Apply accurate labels to packages, including order numbers, addresses, and shipping information.
  • Restocking:
    Replenishing shelves and storage locations with new or incoming stock.
  • Stacking:
    Organize and stack crates, pallets, and lumber in designated storage areas.
  • Inventory Control:
    Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, identify shortages, and report discrepancies.
  • Shipping:
    Prepare orders for shipment, load them into trucks, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintenance:
    Perform regular upkeep on forklifts and other machinery, including checking oil and water levels as needed.
  • Safety Protocols:
    Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Communication:
    Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Additional Duties:
This may include picking, packing, and checking products, relocating items within the warehouse, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, rotating stock to prioritize older items, reporting damage or shortages, and analyzing production schedules.
Requirements:
  • Forklift experience
  • MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION
  • Bilingual is a plus (English and Spanish)
