Full-Time Job Summary:

The Order Picker/Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment such as Reach Truck Order Picker and electric pallet to pick move and stage merchandise throughout the distribution center. This position supports daily warehouse and fulfillment operations while maintaining accurate inventory and following all safety and quality procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate an order picker/forklift safely and efficiently to retrieve merchandise from designated storage locations. Pick and move products according to customer orders pick tickets or system-directed assignments. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to locate scan and verify merchandise. Safely operate warehouse equipment including order pickers pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment. Transport and stage merchandise in designated areas for picking packing shipping or replenishment. Verify product numbers quantities and locations to ensure order accuracy. Perform inventory movements and maintain accurate product locations. Inspect merchandise for damage and report discrepancies or damaged products to a supervisor. Maintain a clean organized and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies including proper forklift operation and PPE requirements. Meet established productivity quality and attendance standards. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED preferred. Previous warehouse distribution order picking or forklift experience preferred. Previous experience operating an order picker/Cherry Picker is strongly preferred. Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment. Comfortable working at elevated heights while operating an order picker. Ability to use an RF scanner and learn warehouse computer systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand walk bend reach and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift push pull and move merchandise as required. Must be able to work the full WednesdaySaturday 6:00 AM4:30 PM schedule.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend reach squat and climb warehouse steps. Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced distribution center environment. Ability to work from elevated platforms while operating an order picker.
