Full-Time (Short Term, 90 Days) Job Summary The Reach Truck / Walkie Rider Operator is responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment to move, locate, load, unload, and stage products within the distribution center. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring products are handled efficiently while meeting company safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate reach trucks, walkie riders, and other powered industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Pick, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments. Accurately scan and track inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Replenish pick locations and store products in assigned warehouse locations. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and quality checks. Follow all OSHA, company safety, and warehouse procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties, including housekeeping and organization of work areas. Meet productivity and attendance expectations while working in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Previous experience operating a reach truck and/or walkie rider preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred. Basic computer and RF scanner skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist for extended periods. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
