Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sit-down/Reach - Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse distribution processes. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly and safely while supporting our commitment to excellence. Duties Operate the forklift trucks, including reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to track materials accurately Pick and prepare orders efficiently using order picker equipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Load and unload shipments safely while adhering to OSHA and forklift safety protocols Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for any issues with forklifts or other material handling equipment Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and maintaining proper documentation Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for storage or dispatch Skills Proven experience operating various types of warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and manual pallet jacks Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels Experience in shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling processes Join us in delivering exceptional service through safe, efficient warehouse operations!
