Job Description

Forklift Operator for B&B Lumber McConnellsville Applicants should understand that the hired employee will spend a majority of their time operating the forklift, this type of forklift experience is preferred Forklift operations include anything from 12000lb diesel to 28000 lb outside diesel forklifts. Please sign up with an open mind and willingness to learn any and all positions.
Some duties include:
Operating 12000lb diesel forklift with 8ft long forks Operating 28000 lb outside diesel forklifts Operate sit down and stand up forklifts Locate and move stock to proper parts of facility Strap loads on trailers Keep updated records of inventory Work inside and outside
Production Working Requirements:
High attention to SAFETY and being aware of surroundings Ability to learn and grow with a team Ability to follow procedures and directions Be able to lift 50-80 lbs Have reliable transportation - ATTENDANCE IS KEY Able to handle a fast-paced environment Able to bend, twist and walk continuously OSHA required steel or composite toe footwear This is an midlevel management position and we are willing to train those who possess a willingness to learn various processes, are reliable, and who can work in a safe manner. Our ideal applicants must have a reliable source of transportation to work. Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential to team and business' success. A successful candidate will have great attention to detail, helping us to ensure that our customers receive high quality products and services consistently day in and day out. They will be highly motivated to learn and maintains a reliable schedule of attendance.
Pay rate:
$18.00-$22.00/hr Depending on
Experience Hours:
Monday-Friday 5:50am-4:30pm As an entry level position, compensation will be based on experience and expertise. Rate is based on level of lumber experience in manufacturing, equipment operation or general lumber knowledge.
