Job Description

Job Overview Arma Container Corp is the largest boutique manufacturer of corrugated packaging and displays in the five boroughs. We value and respect our employees and customers, and know that family is important. Our company is now in our 91st year, and still growing! We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our team to move corrugated paper material carefully around our facility to ensure efficiency and safety. The goal will be to ensure that material will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency and that counts are correct. This is a Local Teamsters Union position in a very fast-paced environment. Position details : We have two shifts available: 1st Shift
  • 7:00 a.m.
  • 3:00 p.m. OR 2nd Shift
  • 3:30 p.m.
  • 11:30 p.
m. Paid OT (after an 8-hour shift) when required. Responsibilities Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Transport raw materials to production workstations Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Comply with company policies and OSHA legal guidelines Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Communicate with Shipping and/or Receiving when necessary
Pay:
$21.25

00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
