Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Handler specializing in Shipping & Receiving to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods into and out of the designated production departments, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and seamless shipping logistics. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and documenting all deliveries . Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling products according to order specifications. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and safely to load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers. Operates yard truck and loader as needed. Ensure compliance with shipping & receiving procedures, trade regulations, and international trade laws during all transactions. Support packaging activities for shipments requiring specialized handling or trade compliance considerations. Proven experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in shipping & receiving functions. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities, weights, measurements, and inventory counts. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping of shipments and inventory transactions. Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners regarding shipment statuses or issues. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform manual tasks required in a busy warehouse environment. Performs other related duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
