Job Description
Total Distribution Inc. has immediate openings in the Fremont area for full-time experienced Warehouse Professionals to operate forklifts or appropriate material handling equipment. 7am-3:30pm Tues-Sat -1 Opening

- Stack and retrieve supplies and materials from staging/storage areas.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Accurately receive inbound products including inspecting for damages and matching material to the manifest.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Accurately read picking tickets.
- Safely and accurately package products for shipping.
- Store and stack products safely.
- Load trucks efficiently including trailer inspection, verify correct material to load, and properly secure (i.e. strapping, tygard, etc).
- Greet and interact with drivers in a professional manner.
- Attend all safety meetings.
What you need to excel:
- Minimum of 1-3 years forklift operator experience.
- Work history in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate equipment used to package polymers.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain OSHA certification as a forklift driver.
- Capable of working independently and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Good communication skills/ability to interact professionally.
- Basic computer skills for use of RF scanners.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Availability to work on any day or shift.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening.
