WEEKEND SHIFT

to join our dynamic warehouse team. This vital role involves operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize goods within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety standards, possess excellent warehouse skills, and contribute to maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Duties Operate forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Perform order picking using barcode scanning systems to ensure accurate shipment processing. Manage inventory by accurately tracking stock levels within the warehouse management system. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain operational safety and efficiency. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for storage or dispatch. Follow OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards during all manual handling and heavy lifting tasks. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve overall warehouse operations. Requirements Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, or similar machinery. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics. Knowledge of materials handling procedures, heavy lifting techniques, and OSHA safety standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory counts and measurements. Experience in shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse environment. Familiarity with equipment repair basics and routine maintenance practices. Excellent manual handling skills with attention to safety protocols in production environments. Prior experience in warehouse management or supervision is a plus. Ability to work effectively during weekend shifts with minimal supervision.
