Reach Truck Operator

Job Title:

Reach Truck Operator (Must be able to operate a reach truck) 50-60 hour work weeks! Monday- Saturday (mandatory) =OT PAY $$$ 7am-5pm =$19.00 Job Description The Shipping Clerk accurately pulls orders, prepares outbound shipments, and safely loads and unloads trucks using a reach truck and other material handling equipment. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by ensuring products move in and out of the facility on time and in good condition. Responsibilities Operate a reach truck and other forklift equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials. Pull and stage orders accurately according to shipping documents and customer requirements. Load and unload trucks in a timely and organized manner, ensuring product integrity. Verify shipment information, including quantities and item descriptions, against order documentation. Organize and maintain shipping areas to support efficient workflow and easy access to materials. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines while working in a cold environment. Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding order status, discrepancies, or issues with shipments. Assist with general warehouse duties related to shipping as needed. Essential Skills Proven experience working as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar shipping and warehouse role. Hands-on experience operating a reach truck and forklift in a warehouse environment. Ability to safely load and unload trucks using material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail when pulling and verifying orders. Ability to work effectively in a cold warehouse environment while wearing required protective clothing. Commitment to following safety procedures and operating equipment responsibly. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a cold warehouse environment where you will need to wear a full winter suit and other appropriate cold-weather gear throughout your shift. The work involves regular operation of reach trucks and forklifts, as well as frequent loading and unloading of trucks in a busy shipping area. Safety procedures and proper use of protective clothing and equipment are an essential part of the daily routine. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Euclid, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
