Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator 22639 Euclid Ave, Euclid, OH 44117 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator supports the administration, coordination, and growth of Moore Counseling & Mediation Services, Inc. (MCMS) Employee Assistance Programs. This position is responsible for coordinating EAP services, supporting client relationships, assisting with program development and marketing initiatives, and ensuring the efficient operation of the program. The EAP Coordinator serves as a liaison between MCMS, client organizations, and employees while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism of the EAP program. This role requires strong organizational, communication, customer service, and time-management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule counseling sessions, mediations, mandatory referrals, critical incident responses, and assessments. Schedule mental health, substance abuse, and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) assessments as needed. Attend and participate in all
MCMS EAP
meetings. Coordinate outpatient referrals and maintain accurate documentation within the care management database. Assist in planning and coordinating employee wellness initiatives and special EAP programs. Complete billing activities related to EAP contracts and services. Monitor and manage EAP email communications and inquiries. Prepare and maintain quarterly reports and supporting documentation for designated EAP clients and contracts. Assist with marketing and promotion of EAP services, including presentations, orientations, and outreach activities. Support the management and coordination of mandatory referrals and follow-up services. Maintain EAP training schedules and coordinate training activities for corporate clients. Present EAP overviews during new employee orientation programs and conduct EAP orientations for client organizations as needed. Coordinate visits and meetings with EAP client companies to ensure quality service and client satisfaction. Create and update marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, flyers, and promotional resources. Order and maintain EAP marketing and promotional materials. Represent MCMS at benefit fairs, wellness events, and community outreach activities. Maintain confidentiality, neutrality, and professionalism in all EAP-related interactions and services. Coordinate emergency, crisis response, and on-call needs by contacting and assigning appropriate counselors. Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new and existing client contracts. Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO regarding EAP activities, contracts, and program operations. Travel to multiple locations as required to support client and program needs. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Services, or a related field preferred. One to three years of experience within the chemical dependency, substance abuse, behavioral health, or EAP field preferred. Familiarity with standard practices, procedures, and concepts related to Employee Assistance Programs. Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure or crisis situations. Experience interacting effectively with employees, management teams, and external clients. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and report preparation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills. CDCA certification is a plus.Pay:
