Ignite Industrial Professionals Groveport, OH Job Details Full-time $19.00 - $20.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Forklift Certification Basic math Cherry picker Materials handling Order picker Full Job Description Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stand Up Forklift Operator on 1st and 2nd shift, where your expertise in heavy equipment operation will keep our warehouse running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will operate stand-up forklifts, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and Hi-Lo forklifts, to safely load, unload, and transport materials within our distribution center. Duties Safely operate various types of forklift equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload materials. Conduct manual handling and heavy lifting tasks while adhering to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety standards. Manage inventory through barcode scanning for logistics, ensuring accurate order picking and shipping & receiving processes. Maintain proper documentation of warehouse activities using warehouse management systems (WMS) and recordkeeping procedures. Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including order picking, load & unload operations, and materials handling with precision. Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime. Follow all safety standards in production environments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations during all warehouse operations. Skills Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management techniques, and barcode scanning for logistics. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling protocols and safety standards. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with materials handling best practices. Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols including OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and general warehouse safety. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Experience with equipment repair or troubleshooting forklift issues is a plus but not required. #
INDOH Pay:
$19.00 - $20.50 per hour
