Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Ability to work safely, follow safety procedures, operate equipment safely, and to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions. Ability to communicate effectively with the Supervisor and ability to take direction from the Supervisor. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 75 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles. Position requires lifting, maneuvering, and positioning cases of product, furniture, and other materials weighing up to pounds, both independently and with assistance. Employees regularly use dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment to move heavy, bulky, or oversized items. Proper ergonomic techniques are always required, including team lifting when appropriate and the use of mechanical aids to reduce strain and prevent injury. Position involves frequent manual material handling and repetitive physical activity; adherence to ergonomic and safety training is required. May be required to wear appropriate PPE, including steel-toed shoes or boots, and other site-specific protective equipment as required by facility safety standards.
