Material Handler/Forklift Operator - 1st

$20/hr Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Material Handler to join our 1st shift team. This Material Handler role is physically demanding and involves both indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions. The position is primarily focused on production, assembly, and manual material handling , with some forklift operation as needed . Candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, and working in a dusty/dirty environment. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload pallets delivered to the work area Perform "cut and dump" tasks: open damaged bags and empty contents into containers for reblend Move undamaged bags from incoming pallets and restack them onto new pallets Ensure organic materials flow properly through shakers Notify heavy equipment operators when shakers need to be refilled Perform housekeeping duties including scraping, sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up Maintain finishing screens by scraping to ensure proper product flow Prevent material buildup under conveyors, aisles, and catwalks Assist with small bag line operations as needed Report equipment issues to maintenance personnel Meet quality and quantity standards throughout the shift Operate a forklift to support production and material movement Work Environment Indoor and outdoor setting Exposure to dust, dirt, and varying weather conditions Fast-paced, physically intensive work Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Ability to stand for the entire shift Willingness to work 15-20 hours of overtime weekly Comfortable working in dusty, dirty, and outdoor conditions Strong work ethic and reliability Forklift experience a plus (not required)

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
