Job Description

Pay:
$18.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Overtime Hours:
Must be flexible to work approximately 6:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. As Overtime is scheduled often Great opportunity to earn consistent overtime pay! GTRJOBS is hiring a dependable Shipping & Forklift Operator for a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position is responsible for preparing, staging, verifying, and loading outbound shipments safely and accurately. We are looking for someone who is reliable, has dependable transportation, and is flexible with their schedule. During busy periods, this position may require an earlier start or later end time. Responsibilities Prepare and verify finished orders for shipment Make sure products are properly packaged, labeled, and ready to ship Stack and secure products on pallets Operate a forklift/tow motor and pallet jack Move and stage pallets for outbound shipments Stage freight by carrier or destination Load pallets safely and securely onto outbound trucks Verify truck, carrier, trailer, and shipment information before loading Complete and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation Record trailer and seal numbers accurately Communicate shipment status with the warehouse and office teams Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, labeling, and proper documentation Take required photos of pallets before loading Maintain a clean and safe shipping and dock area Follow established shipping and safety procedures Requirements Forklift/tow motor operating experience Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to safely load, stage, and move freight Comfortable completing shipping paperwork and following detailed procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills Dependable attendance Reliable transportation is required Must be flexible with start and end times based on shipping volume Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment Willingness to complete required safety and equipment training Schedule Flexibility The normal schedule is 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. However, candidates must be able to adjust their schedule when business demands require it. During busy periods, the position may start as early as 6:00 a.m. and work as late as approximately 5:30 p.m. #INDLuke
