This is an entry-level position supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility. The Materials & Facility Operator will assist with loading and unloading shipments, safely operating a forklift, moving and staging components, maintaining clean and organized work areas (taking out trash and breaking down boxes), and assisting with general facility needs. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and willing to learn . The ability to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative is highly valued. PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and may operate or work around forklifts and other equipment. The employee may frequently be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outdoor conditions, and hot and cold temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate but may vary depending on equipment and work activities. Hearing and eye protection is provided.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds . Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull for extended periods. Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stage materials and components. Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate a forklift after receiving appropriate training and authorization. Ability to perform general facility, cleaning, material-handling, and groundskeeping duties as required.
Pay:
From $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
