Job Title:

Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Wire Cutter to join our industrial supply team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing wire and cable products according to customer specifications and order requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating wire-cutting equipment, handling large wire spools, and maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities Review picking tickets and work orders to identify required wire types, gauges, and specified lengths. Verify order details to ensure accurate fulfillment. Measure, cut, and prepare wire and cable products according to customer specifications. Safely operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic wire-cutting and stripping equipment. Ensure all cuts meet quality and length requirements. Position and manage heavy wire reels and spools. Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment as required. Maintain safe handling practices when moving materials. Inspect wire and cable products for defects, damage, and correct labeling before and after processing. Confirm that finished products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. Essential Skills Experience with wire-cutting equipment and handling large wire spools. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Attention to detail for ensuring inventory accuracy. Minimum 1.5 years of experience in shipping in a distribution and logistics environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in scheduling shipments. General labor and warehouse inventory management skills. Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camp Hill, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
