opportunity. The Forklift Operator plays a key role in warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts and other power equipment to receive, stock, pick, and ship merchandise. Responsibilities Receive incoming freight by operating a forklift and other power equipment to unload trailers and move product to the dock area. Use RF scanners to process and record incoming product accurately in preparation for stocking. Stock merchandise by resupplying bins and maintaining inventory levels using RF scanners while working on foot or on a reach lift. Perform order picking using a Voice Collect headset to select, stage, and prepare merchandise for transport. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to efficiently and safely fulfill orders on foot or while driving. Load outgoing trailers strategically and securely using forklifts or other power equipment to ensure safe transport of product. Follow all safety procedures and best practices when operating forklifts, reach lifts, and other warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity, accuracy, and shipping deadlines. Adhere to warehouse policies regarding equipment use, inventory handling, and order processing. Essential Skills Proven ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse power equipment. Experience working in a warehouse environment with responsibilities such as inventory, picking, and order selection. Ability to use RF scanners for inventory management, stocking, and product processing. Capability to work with high reach equipment and reach lifts as needed. Comfort using voice-directed systems such as Voice Collect headsets for order picking. Strong safety orientation and commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time in a warehouse setting. Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel on a regular basis to handle product and perform picking tasks. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when needed. Willingness to work weekends and holidays when required to support operational needs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a forklift operator, order selector, or warehouse associate. Familiarity with inventory control processes and maintaining accurate stock levels. Experience working with high reach forklifts or reach trucks in a warehouse environment. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when scanning, picking, and loading product. Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
