Job Description

Join Our Team Bell & Evans is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Pallet Jack Operator to join our Warehouse team. In this role, you will play an essential part in preparing customer orders by moving palletized products, staging shipments, and ensuring products are accurately picked, labeled, and ready for delivery. What You'll Do As a Pallet Jack Operator, you will: Operate a pallet jack to safely transport palletized products throughout the warehouse. Pick customer orders accurately based on supervisor instructions. Prepare pallets for shipment, including creating combination bins when needed. Verify product quantities and report any damaged products to your supervisor immediately. Ensure all products are properly boxed, labeled, and prepared for shipment. Perform daily pre-operational inspections to ensure the pallet jack is in safe working condition. Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment and handling products. Assist with staging and loading Bell & Evans products for customer shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Identify and report any food safety, quality, or workplace safety concerns. Perform additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications Previous experience operating a pallet jack is preferred (1-3 months). High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment. Preferred Experience Previous experience in poultry processing, food manufacturing, warehouse operations, or shipping and receiving. Demonstrated history of reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Commitment to workplace safety and producing high-quality products. Why Join Bell & Evans?
